On arrival you will be introduced in a personal way into the house and then receive the keys. So you have the opportunity to clarify the to important questions about the home-use.

Location

The house is located in the locality of Redinoce, between  Procchio and Marciana Marina,  1,25 km above the “La Paolina” beach.  It is located in the Tuscan Archipelago National Park in the western part of the island of Elba.

How to arrive

BY CAR
From Piombino take the ferry to Portoferraio (1 h crossing). continue direction Procchio and  then in direction Marciana Marina. 2,5 km after Procchio at the waymark “Redinoce” turn from the main road to the left. Please arrange with the homeowner time and meeting place, then he accompanies you on arrival from the ferry terminal to the house.

THE WAY INTO SILENCE
The home is quietly located amidst the National Park. The access road is not paved. The access is possible with any car, but  inadvisable for heavily laden or lowered cars. So you come up easily in this case, anyway, we will transport your luggage with pleasure.

BY AIRPLANE
During the season, the island is served. From mid-October to early April Pisa is the closest airport. If you rent a car on Elba or Pisa airport, you can reach the house via Procchio (see above).

BY TRAIN
The train stops at the ferry harbour “Piombino Marittima”. From there by ferry (1 h) to Portoferraio. We will pick you up with pleasure from the port, please arrange in advance.

Public buses have intercourse on the island , which are suitable to explore the island or to scale back by bus again after a hike.  The distance between the house and the bus station is 1,5 km. 

FERRY
From PiombinoMarittima to Elba Island have intercourse various ferry companies: TOREMAR, MOBYLINES, and BLU NAVY. In the high season runs a ferry approximately every 45 minutes.  In order to avoid long queues, stress and the hustle and bustle at the ticket offices at the port of Piombino, we recommend to book a ferry ticket in advance at weekends in July / August and Easter and Pentecost.
